Today the team started locking down the parts that need to be put on the motor. Ana and I soldered all the motor wires to the tether wires and waterproofed all of it. Minami finished the frame and started calculations on the ROV’s buoyancy. Next class we will connect everything to the ROV and test out its buoyancy.

We started off by assigning jobs for building the ROV. Casey learned how to build the control box, Ana and I learned how to work with motors, and Minami learned how to build the frame. We each practiced our skills until we felt more comfortable with it. Next class we will practice more and start building the actual frame.
